Dearest Patriot FReepers, FRiends and New Members
Three Facts
You all love Free Republic or you wouldn't be here.
Obama's economy SUX, yet he was reelected.
"FReepers are absolutely the greatest!" ~ Jim
We have less than $6, 900.00 to go to meet our Fourth Quarter's expenses. It's really a heartbreaking shame that our FReepathons are taking almost 2 months to complete.
We have a lot of new members who may not realize that Free Republic is solely funded by contributions freely given by our membership, so if you're a new member reading this, please consider donating, or better yet, consider donating monthly.
We have a New Monthly Donor Campaign wherein generous FReeper Sponsors have donated $10.00 for every New Monthly Donor or New Dollar-A-DAY Donor! Please sign up to donate monthly, if you possibly can. We're currently looking for New Monthly Donor #48!
Ideally, we need every member and regular user to contribute to keep Free Republic up and running strong. We are, in fact, the Premiere grassroots site on the whole of the Internet for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty, TEA Party, Conservatives.
If you haven't yet pitched-in, please do so today, to help us Git-R-Done ASAP!
Jim is right. "FReepers are absolutely the greatest." FReepers always come through in support of Free Republic!
Thanks very much everyone! May God Bless and keep you all and everyone you love.

It's not actually raining, but snowing here right now.
It was lightly snowing without much "stickage" we call it,
but it has gotten a little heavier with fatter flakes,
and started drifting on the patio and the lawn.
It is falling sideways in the wind.
Click the Flower Thank you, JoeProBono

Father-in-law said last night that snow was in the forecast. He’s probably getting some now.

Bryan switched from the mowing deck to the snow thrower on the lawn tractor yesterday.
But I don’t think he’s going to have to plow because the snow is blowing right past us. Not much is hanging around on the lawn, and the clouds are not dark enough to block the full effect of the sun.
For first snow, it’s not very impressive, and here’s hoping I didn’t speak too soon!

Yea, we have to watch what we say. I can’t of think how many times I’ve gone to bed saying ‘this is nothing’ to wake up with holy Toledo! LOL!

How-do Red, If you guys have got bad weather that means we get it about two weeks after you've finished with it....Oh nice that will go well on top of the rain and gale-force winds we have at the moment.
Had to replace the roof on the shed yesterday, the wind had ripped it clean off. Hopeing the replacement one holds.

Hi Moose,
No severe weather here. Just a little cold for this time of year. We’re in the 40F range today. And cloudy with very little wind.

Snow! At 29 degrees last night, it was cold enough to snow here, but no moisture in the air. LOL @ you’re not mentioning what day it is.

Thirty degrees here, windy as all get out, but the snow seems to be tapering off.
I lost a ring at the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot last month, and Bryan replaced
it today. The actual price was about $30 less than the jeweler quoted because of the
fluctuation in the price of gold. We ordered it about three weeks ago, so the jeweler
received it yesterday.
There is no way that Bryan and I could be dragged kicking and screaming out of the
house with ravening wolves, wild horses, fires, floods, or tornados on Black Friday.
Yoiks! No thanks.
So we picked it up today, and the stores were very quiet, some of them closed.
