Great post! America - I do not believe - will get a “reset”. God is indeed merciful and God truly has “shed his grace on thee” but we’ve thrown it back in his face. I think America is in line for judgement. It may not be biblical in proportions. It may just be the direction a country takes when it no longer acknowledges God and trusts in him - but depends on human wisdom. You know, sort of like N. Korea. Time will tell. One thing is for sure, Christians are about to experience real discrimination and persecution - much like the rest of the world has. But that’s really cause for rejoicing. The real believers will shine brightly in the ever growing darkness that’s sure to come, the pretenders will be revealed for what they were all along and… the return of the real King can not be stopped. The heathen will continue to rage and imagine a vain thing (that they will depose God himself) - just like they’ve always done. The rebellion continues. The horror that is coming will reveal just how stubborn and in love with unrighteousness mankind really is. But God laughs at them because he is going to set his son as the King over all the earth and there’s not a thing they can do to stop him as Psalm 2 so movingly states. This is the “good news” of the Gospel. Be sure to spread it.
