What was their gripe?
By the way, when I was a kid, we used to have wars with real injuries throwing osage oranges at each other like insane savages. Ha Ha Ha... oh the memories (snicker).

If these guys were resigning because of the leftwing bias of the news Yahoo! News wouldn’t be reporting it.

don’t feel bad, I posted this earlier today and got clobbered with the same stuff.
In my opinion, they deserve respect for standing up for integrity. Liberty doesn’t mean “everyone has to become a conservative”. I don’t care if they are liberals to the core (or conservatives for that matter) - their job is to report the news not make it up and I salute them for it. Howard Beale lives!

We used to get into apple throwing wars with the neighbor kids two houses over from us.
Believe me, getting beaned with an apple wasn't much fun :)

..to report unbalanced news, politically..> wonder how long they followed those same orders ..must had been the things they ask them to do were over the top..people need to speak out like Greta did last night.

If the new post-Romney definition of ‘conservative’ is to be ‘feww’ to spread leftist propaganda that destroys capitalism and other tenets of America, then I think it’s time for me to leave and declare myself a proud fascist.
Because people wanting this to be allowed need to be rounded up and...well. I’ll stop right there.

Surprised they got the chance.
Most local news personalities simply disappear without any announcement of any kind from anybody.

You seem to have some very mistaken and bizarre ideas about journalism and integrity in journalism. The news anchors protested about unbalanced news stories, yet they resigned when they could not unilaterrally dictate unbalanced news stories. How is their demands to broadcast unbalanced news stories and misrepresentation of those unbalanced news stories as balanced news stories supposed to repesent integrity? In effect, you are arguing that their inability to dishonestly report the news is somehow supposed to be integrity, because they are faithful to their self-appointed duty to misreport the news in an unfair and unbalanced way as if it were balanced and fair.

No, not with guts. The station manager compared global warming stories to the Y2K scare, the Killer Bee scare in te 70s, etc.
The kiddies were hurt that they can’t run their propaganda. And apparently, they both think they should be running the station.
