Romney was my primary choice for the GOP candidate, but he won the primary, and I gritted my teeth and supported him, and voted for him, as compared to Barack Obama, Romney was Reagan.

Now, having said that, Romney lost - whether it was a fair and honest election, I have my doubts...but, at this point he's not contesting the loss and it is, what it is.

But what's more amazing is the massive "gloat" that has suddenly consumed the left. It's childish, but most of the left is childish.

That brings me to the idea of Romney pumping his own gas...which is really a non-starter as there are very few stations left that will pump it for you.

But to say he is keeping himself in the "shadows of defeat" and it looking "tired and washed up", it total bull$hit.

In his defense, he just spent a grueling year on the campaign trail...sure he's "tired", we would all be tired. I think he would have taken a break of two or three weeks even if he had won.

But, "washed up"? Don't forget, he's run for this office before, and he came back to do it again.

Romney didn't "connect" with a lot of people, that's the popular meme about him right now...but, I believe him to be a decent and down-to-earth guy. The liberals try to make him out to be Thurston Powell (Gilligan's Island's millionaire), wallowing in limosines and caviar, but I don't see that about him.

He's laying low, spending some well-earned time with his family. He's not being a sore loser...but the liberals are being sore winners. They "won", and still can't stop tearing him down.

Leave the man alone. He ran his race, and he lost. So MSM and the rest of you liberal $hitheads, go somewhere and gloat on your own.

The bastards in the MSM have been doing this for over a half a century. The MSM portrayed FDR, a multi-millionare who inherited his fortune, as a "man of the people". They portrayed Pres. Hoover, who was born poor and worked his way up as a mining engineer as the evil friend of big business.
