Shark wasted at least $5k on that chopper, whereas a decent plane and camera would cost about 1k. The difference is that they would need skill to fly the plane and it’s unlikely that any of them have skills.
They probably envisioned hovering a foot above the hunter's heads and really irritating them - never considered a "normal reaction to an unacceptable event".
Reminds me of one of "World's Dumbest" clips - teenagers had expensive RC car and sent it onto a golf course green and knocked some old geezer's ball around. he decided to tee up on the car and busted it to pieces - the kid went running from his hiding spot screaming at the guy.
