Everybody seems to be missing the point.

Why would anybody need a "license" to peaceably travel from place-to-place anywhere in this country anyway?

Well, you need an ID to get on an airplane.

Then again, foreigners should have an ID or passport from their home countries, theoretically. Theoretically there should be no need for an American state issued drivers license. But liberals have a different mindset about these things.
