Mr. T has already made two pumpkin pies. Instead of the powdered ginger called for in the recipe on the back of the pumpkin can, he added fresh ginger, and instead of ground cloves he added nutmeg (he started with a can of plain pumpkin). They look good.
The turkey is almost completely defrosted, but it's only eleven pounds, so it won't take long to cook.

I’m already cooking, LOL! I made the cheesecake, and I’m in the process of making the stuffing bread. This is all low-carb cooking, even the cranberry sauce.
Bryan wants to start very early tomorrow morning so that we aren’t eating dinner at 8 p.m., as we sometimes do when we start cooking too late on Thanksgiving day.
It’s a pretty big production, but at least we don’t have to do anything but heat up leftovers for a week or more afterward.
