Same here. I really enjoyed the Frugal Gourmet when I was a kid. Hated to find out he was such a creep in real life. The Smoking Gun has the actual complaint filed against him by his victims, and man is it ugly. Not only is Smith named, but his wife was, too. The attorneys claimed they had evidence she used her position in his business to pay “hush money” on several occasions, and knowingly turned a blind eye to what Jeff was doing.
IIRC, there may also have been an even darker accusation: that she may have even been Smith’s “procurer”, purposely hiring young men for the kitchen that would appeal to her husband. Not sure about that one, though.
