Now “incompetent” is RAAAACIST.
I can’t stand listening to Kopple and Kalb...their old, quivering white guy voices make me ill. That symposium was RAAACIST! Where was the diversity?

Koppel longs for the “good old days” when the MSM had a monopoly on information.

Good point. Call the Congressional Black Caucasians and I’m sure they’ll address it at their next meeting. ;-)

Comment on statement made in the first hour:
Yes we need to get rid of the “Tax Cuts need to be Paid For” slogan. We also need to TEACH PEOPLE that tax cuts do not necessarily equal less tax revenue. The two are only somewhat tied. There are many other factors tied to tax revenue, but the DEPENDENCY PARTY want to make an untrue, simple statement stick. They want to make the Ill-Informed Voter believe for all eternity that Tax Cuts are BAD!
IMO, we need immediate mass distribution of simple economic classes. This country does such a poor job at teaching economics, you would think that it is done ON PURPOSE! As with anything else, where there is a vacuum, something will come along soon to fill it. Without proper teachings on economics, the lib National Education Association has been able to fill that vacuum.

And the GOP responds with we need to be more inclusive to win the vote.
Heck, the GOP responded by messing around with his district!
Breaking down the Florida GOPs redistricting map
* Who gets hurt?
Because the GOP has such a huge majority of seats in a swing state 19 of 25, to be exact shoring up all 19 of those members was a difficult task. And that means some Republicans see their districts get tougher under the new map.
Case in point are Reps. Tom Rooney and Allen West. Both of their South Florida districts got about four points more Democratic, which should make life significantly tougher for each of them. Rooney now has a more compact swing seat (the 18th) north of West Palm Beach, while Wests already Democratic-leaning 22nd district just south of Rooneys became even more Democratic and will be tough for him to hold.
West has been a very outspoken tea party freshman and has raised huge money, but line-drawers dont appear to have done him many favors. His district, as constructed, would have gone about 43 percent for the last two Republican presidential nominees.
Both men appear to have options, though. Rooney could run in the new 17th, which includes much of his current territory in the Everglades, while there has been some talk of West running across the state in Macks district. (Though West has shown no interest in this.)

Right to work isn’t going to do it. It is the government unions that are the problem. The trade unions as simply drawing power from the government unions which operate as an arm of the Democrat Party. Unless we rein in the demands and negotiation rights of the public sector unions, this country will be a one party country.
The Republicans in WA State foolishly thought that if they supported the unions, the unions would support them. No matter how hard I tried to warn them, they just wouldn’t listen. Some of the Republicans in my county went so far as to appear on a stage with the union organizers to support a union issue, which the local environmental activists oppose. The Republicans told me that the unions were ready to vote Republican. Meanwhile, the unions were distributing pictures of the Republicans on the stage with the union organizers, laughing at them.

Thanks for the ping. I’m so sad and pissed to hear of Allen West conceding. I heard yesterday of all the inaccuracies and votes not counted.
