Be careful of letting your own prejudices influence the way you read.
I don't think anal sex caused their brains to be diseased, I think diseased brains caused the anal sex. Whether that disease is physiological or psychological may still be in dispute. I know gender identity confusion occurs in schizophrenia, which is physiological.
Unfortunately, as Paul put so very well in Romans 1, once you start down the road it tends to progress toward greater sin. The road didn't start with homosexuality.
It doesn't end with it, either.
I am prejudiced against perversion that contaminates the society in which I live.
