“Very true but until the Republicans can put a man or woman in front of us that has some balls . . “

The Dems are doing a good job of destroying the more aggressive Republicans with the exception of those who destroy themselves. Allen West is the latest casualty. Palin has been neutered. Gingrich blew himself up. Bachmann has almost been neutered. Chris Christy has almost destroyed himself. Bobby Jindal seems to be positioning to join the appeasers. Scott Walker endured the vicious onslaught of the media, the Democrat party, the unions, and the government bureaucracy to squeak out a win in the recall but likely faces an even more vicious war if he ever again runs for office. The Dems are excellent at employing Alinsky tactics to isolate and destroy individuals while Republicans are unwilling to unite and defend individual GOP members under attack. Even when leaders become isolated and vulnerable, the Republican leadership runs away (Nixon, Gingrich, Livingston, Lott).

In contrast the Dems defend their own. Bill Clinton survived impeachment for perjury because his party and its constituents united behind him and fought for him. Obama, Holder, Harry Reid, Hillary, and now Susan Rice all have or have had issues that would easily have brought down a Republican. The GOP is unable to mount a sustained and relentless attack on individual Dems. Once a Dem has an issue that sneaks through the media sound barrier and begins to make traction, the Dem propaganda machine goes into full battle mode against perceived opponents. Look at how quickly the Benghazi issue became McCain and Graham’s racism instead of Susan Rice lying. Did the Republicans mount an even stronger counterattack decrying the use of the race card or are they in full retreat?

I’m not counting on the Republicans to develop courage and press to win. Their leadership plays defense not offense and their defensive game is becoming weaker while the opposition becomes stronger and more destructive. . Since the members elect the leadership one must presume the leadership reflects the views of the majority of Republican legislators.

Progressives are like the Borg -- they rise and fall together. Their strength is in numbers

Conservatives aren't naturally "Borg-like." We champion the individual. So how do we unite without becoming consumed and controlled with a "solidarity-like" mindset?

Some of the leadership of the GOP is on the same side as the Dems and seek the destruction of the USA and a “new world order”.
