All of the predictions about Romney's scorched earth campaign killing his chances with PO'd conservatives could be correct.
All of the predictions about Romney's vanilla policies not being a contrasting record to run on were borne out without a doubt in my opinion. And all of Romney's hesitancy during the campaign itself to stand up and fight might have turned some people off.

Excellent summary, xzins.

I just sincerely hope that the stupid party will not invite Romney back in 2016 for an encore performance because the gop-e loves him.

I'll bet he's already planning his campaign for 2016. It's pre-ordained, donchaknow??

It would be easy for us to say, “I told you so.”, and there’s a part of me that is there wanting to do that.

The sad reality, though, is that we will lose more freedom in the next 4 years, that folks are talking about raising taxes before they’ve even fought the spending wars, and that our enemies think we are a joke.

It is time for some kind of near-revolution, but there is no leader, just a bunch of politicians.

No, Romney is done. No 2016. He’ll be too old, and Ann’s health won’t tolerate another run.

We move on to the next generation: Walker, Rubio, Haley, Martinez, Kasich, Rand Paul etc

Interestingly, it is the Dems who have the generation problem in 2016 - Biden vs Hillary.
