Why does Newt Gingrich have to explain Romney's ideology. In my area of Florida, Romney was ahead until his comments to where many votes were offended. It backfired. A presidential candidate must always be better than the people out here complaining to give leadership. Who wants a coach that wins/loses some though runs to the camera to make excuses. I think he is addressing Romney making excuses. Romney should never put down part of the country in the fashion that he did. You cannot do that. You have to be smart and come across as caring for all Americans. You guys can blast Newt but he has more sense than anyone in the media and for putting himself out there. Who of you, will step up-this explains why good people will not run. They are torn to shreds. Newt has done more good for this country even with his faults. Maybe, once he leaves, we will have Rubio and Christie as the spokespeople. You can have those kiss along go along guys.. we need a reformer with leadership skills..like Newt and someone like him is out there since some don't like Newt. Well said. Romney lied about Newt in the primary to win the nomination. Go Newt! Go Palin!
