The St. Lucie County canvassing board has missed a noon deadline to file election results to the Division of Elections, prompting campaign officials for Patrick Murphy to declare the political newcomer the winner in the race for congressional District 18 race.
Under Florida law, the final certified results were due from all of the state’s 67 supervisors of elections today. If the results do not arrive on time, the certified unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand. Those results have Murphy winning by 0.58 percent. A spread of less than 0.5 percent would have triggered an automatic recount.
“Today at noon, it became clear Patrick Murphy will be officially certified as the next congressman from the 18th Congressional District,” Anthony Kusich, Murphy for Congressman campaign manager, said in a prepared statement issued around 12:40 p.m. “The voters have spoken and Patrick Murphy is once again the clear winner. It is beyond time to put this campaign behind us and put the interests of the people of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches first.”

Tim Edson, Murphy’s campaign manager, disagreed.
“As usual, Murphy’s people are full of garbage,” Edson said. “This is something the secretary of state and governor will have to sort out.”
Edson said other problems arose this morning. The recount showed 900 voters cast ballots in precinct 93, where there are 7 registered voters, Edson said.
“We have concerns here,” Edson said. “The results are raising more questions.”
Shortly after the deadline passed, attorneys for West headed to the St. Lucie County Courthouse to request an emergency hearing on the issue. It is not known if a hearing has been scheduled.

UPDATE 1:47 P.M.: West going to court — Will contest certification – From “a source close to Allen West” provided to Legal Insurrection:
St Lucie missed the deadline for certification, so automatically the previous results are what go to the Secretary of State for final certification.
Our attorneys are seeing if it’s possible (today) to get an emergency extension of the deadline.
We have until Nov 30 (10 days) to contest the election in Talahassee, and then there would be a hearing scheduled in December.
Of course, the Secretary of State may decide to NOT certify the results because of the discrepancies -and we have yet to see the results of the auditor’s report which may recommend a retabulation.
Just as background, one precinct has 7 voters registered and yet recorded about 900 votes. That’s a 13,000 percent turnout.
Clearly, something is amiss.

On November 6, we were dropped in a steaming pile by people who thought that opening their hands for feebies was more important than hanging on to what was truly valuable. I just read your previous post, at least there's hope for this debacle to get straightened out.
Oh, and Walker should be arrested and prosecuted when she's released from the funny farm she checked into.
New guidelines for all voting precincts:
From now on you count only the first Ballot. It must be declared Democrat no matter what. That is the only result to be sent in. Wait until the deadline when no other votes may be counted and the Democrats may then declare victory.

The missed deadline now increases pressure on Gov. Rick Scott and Secretary of State Ken Detzner, who have to certify final results on Tuesday.
Missing the deadline is the latest fumble for St. Lucie County election officials, and it likely to add ammunition to Mr. West’s claims that the election count has been botched from the beginning.
His accusations gained steam Friday when officials said they’d found a box with hundreds of early voting ballots that had never been counted in the first place.
The House of Reps is the final determinant of who gets seated in its chambers ....
That’s one way to win. Just vote “present” or don’t vote at all.
It seems West if fighting this battle with little or no help from the GOP. Could that be because he was elected by the Tea Party?

Intentional foot dragging?
The Republicans/RINO’s are so afraid of ‘black backlash’ that they’re paralyzed to confront even blatant election fraud. Blacks know this to, and take advantage of it, including the Kenyan in the WH. This mindset must stop. The longer Americans wait to address this problem, the worse things will be. I’m calling Gov. Scott tomorrow and cussing my freaking head off. Niceties no more. And switching to ‘Independent’ as well.
Vote fraud has been going on to some extent forever, especially rife in 19th Century politics. It is actually easier to vote, but harder to cheat than ever before.

Looks like there's two legal ways for West to overcome what looks to be outright election fraud.
Not only does everyone know the count has been botched by the St. Lucie board but Gertrude has admitted it.
At this point anything they come up with is highly suspect.
The Governor and or the courts have to step in. This whole process has been compromised.
Is Gertrude still in the country? :o)
