You are sooo right. Sometimes the only way to deal with a “drunk” is a punch in the nose and kick in the nuts. Additionally, you are correct that compromise with them just invites more attempts at powere over you. Never attempt to negotiate or compromise with a drunk or fool. Slap them silly and make them run off into the night screaming like a little girl. After it happens to them, often enough, they stop.
