First off, the jihadis bragged and admitted to the terrorist attack(an email showing them taking credit was shown on many websites), in addition they know that US intel would know. So to use such a lame excuse as, well we didn’t want the terrorist to know that we are on to them is pure, unadulterated BS!
The jihadis only concern about being identified is before any attack, once its done, they could care less, even take credit for it.
