One analysis of Cristie’s behavior with Obama was that he is annoyed with Romney for not considering him for VP. This is also supposed to explain his behavior at the Republican Convention. Then again, he is running in a blue state.

NJ hired him as a Republican and if he continues to pursue being a Democrat they'll fire him as a Republican, because they can just elect a real Democrat.
