I know hardly anybody here will agree with me.I’m a conservative not a Republican so who in the GOP or here cares what I think...but if the GOP is ever going to win presidential year elections they need to show up in the popular media as much as the Dims they don’t need to pander but they need to be there..

I agree, Palin isn't afraid of anything or anybody, because she knows what she thinks about things and why, she is flexible, loose, comfortable and confident.

I bet West would show up if it served his purposes as a conservative, and the timing was appropriate, in fact we need that kind of exposure and communication with the voters of America.

Many republicans seem like they are afraid to step out of the country club or the gated community, or wherever about 85% to 95% of the GOP leadership seems to hide to keep from getting any of life on them.

Republicans are cooler than democrats.

Of all the politicians who have appeared on that show over the years, Christie was far and away the most comfortable and natural appearing. He made the segment his, and the “anchor” kind of disappeared into the background. It was a very impressive performance. (Then I went to bed.) We need to cultivate more people like him with media smarts, people who don’t look like they are at the dentist anticipating a root canal when they appear on TV. Like Christie or not, he nailed it.
