New Mexico is firmly attached to the government teat. If you add up dependents on social security, dissability, native amaricans, labor unions, pro-illegal representatives in the roundhouse, and military defense contracts for white sands and the labs, it’s not surprising that the state voted overwhelmingly for zero. We’re >50% parasite down this way.

Governor Martinez (R) won the state with just 53% of the vote.

That was in the 2010 election, when Republicans turned out in huge numbers, and Democrat turnout was quite poor.

If she had run for the first time in 2008, I seriously doubt she would have been elected.

Does NM still have much higher gasoline prices than TX? It used to be that way but maybe no longer?
