One idea being floated is to change federal labor laws to prevent states from being right to work states. The unions are pushing for those changes.
They have no legal authority to do that.
If these union thugs have your information, you’ve just been subjected to the likelihood of violence against you. (Unions don’t know any other way.)
Union Hack: “That’s a nice job you have there Mr. Smith, it would be shame if something happened to it.”
As a business owner who has about 275 employees its a scary thing to know that a card check program could kill my 108 year old business. I was told by my Father who fought the teamsters back in 1973 and won the strike against our company to just close it if it ever got reorganized by the unions again. Today at age 88 years of age he holds the same point of view.
Obama will destroy the family and small business person in America. I have never wanted to sell our business but it might be time to do so. Why worry about 275 employees and their families when I just have to worry about my 8 members of my family.
Right to work state plus no state 0-care exchange would be the best place for medicine to flourish now. The differences could be amazing. Then if such a state, like TX, enacted some legislation requiring menu pricing, we could see a very competitive, high quality and productive healthcare market emerge in that state. Doctors, wealthier patients, and businesses would relocate to take advantage of better conditions.
