A majority of Americans believe the country will be better off four years from now, while 41% say it will be worse. But this level of optimism is down considerably from four years ago, following President Barack Obama's first election victory, when 65% said the country would be better off in four years, and prior to his first inauguration, when 72% said the same.

So 54% are too stupid to see a freight train coming straight at them.
That’s one way to thin the herd.... B-P

LOL!! At least they’ll have their Obama phone to call 911.
the gates are all down
the signals are flashing
the whistle is screaming in vain
if you sit on the tracks
ignoring the facts
you can't blame the wreck on the train
Hank Rearden: “What are you counting on?!”
An old song from my Sunday school days keeps popping into my mind as an ear worm.
This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through, my treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue;
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
Oh, Lord you know, I have no friend like you, if heaven’s not my home, then Lord what will I do. The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door and I can’t feel at home in the world anymore. (at least not in the US)
It ain’t the place I was born.
The Flag is different.
The Pledge is different.
And so much more is alien.
They better hope the cell towers are working. B-)
Gallup? Next!
no shortage of stupid people coming out of government operated schools. just think how the dmv and post offcie operate. that tells you something.
This has not hit home we are still living in the capitalist sytem looking over at the offerings ubango has instore for us but not experiencing it yet, wait............when it comes down and people get a taste they will rise up and he will clamp down.
That was exactly how I took it, too.
And they were loved here for that very reason...
Clearly, a majority of Americans are imbeciles afflicted with terminal wishful thinking.
Whatever nation it is that emerges from the next four years, it won’t be America.
LOL
My family is just fine; and is a Traditional family, with values that America once held dear, fought for, lived, and worked to achieve. Same as my neighbors, friends, and business associates. Unfortunately, I do Contract work in Cleveland, and see the mentality and lifestyles EVERY DAY that results in the comments in my tag-line, which represent THEIR values.
Don't need your sympathy, but it would be great if more Americans who don't have a grasp of reality of what inner-city-parasitic-tribes are all about, to visit Deetroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, etc. and see what we have Electing the Socialist/Progressive/Communist Elites to run this country.
All the Republicans are going to have at the end of 4 years is a great big, “WE TOLD YOU SO”. I wonder if, at that point, anyone will even listen.
Which Americans think they will be better off? The ones who pay taxes or the ones that receive the taxes?
Obama is not the problem. He is a symptom and by product of the problem, the American idiot voter.
American upbeat............what word can describe the absolute mental deficiency of these people. Was America a victim of a secretive massive government drug test in the 50’s that rendered the majority of the populace comatose?
Your list showed ~23,000 between the election and the 13th.
Figure ~50,000 total in that time.
On top of the "normal" layoffs between 10/14 and 11/6, call it 225,000 reported by the BLS three weeks before Christmas...
>>you can’t blame the wreck on the train
If that 54% was just sitting on the tracks drinking a beer and wondering what all the noise is, I wouldn’t care. I’m past the point where I will only laugh at their self-induced suffering.
But, they are sitting there building a derailer to knock the train off the tracks so they can go back to sitting. The other 46% of us are driving that train, shoveling coal into the firebox, blowing the whistle like crazy, and waving the lights. The crash is going to impact us a lot more than it impacts them.
