I share your frustration sir.
However, as a man of tactical strategy - would you not agree that one of the first rules of combat is to not only know your enemy - but know the ground you are fighting on and the truth of where you find yourself?
If so - then you must recall what was done Tuesday during the RNC. At the Ruling Class Gop-e’s insistence, they changed the rules and made Conservatism IRRELEVANT in the national party by marginalizing and making it impossible for the TEA Party or grass roots Conservatives from EVER being able to take over the party from within.
That’s the ground we find ourselves on.
On top of that - the GOP’s ROE is one that disarms us, and if we push an issue they have already decided to capitulate to the Dems - the GOP will join forces with the enemy to distance themselves from us and leave us to twist in the breeze, just like our guys in Benghazi.
We cannot fight when our hands are collectively tied behind our backs by a co-opted leadership drunk on their power. Especially when forced to fight according to arbitrary rules the Elites change to ensure they remain untouched in leadership.
I personally think the ballot box is going to be forever useless and corrupted by the current regime and those who are willing to play ball with them. But let’s say for argument’s sake that the cognitive dissonance that we will have an honest election in 2016 will happen;
How do you propose we get a Conservative army in shape if the party we once belonged hates us as much as the enemy does? A leadership that works to limit our ability to champion Conservatism in the party and had Boehner pound the gavel despite vocal protests that essentially renders we Conservatives irrelevant when it comes to getting delegates to support OUR chosen Conservatives?
Unless we depart this corrupted club we once pledged ourselves and find new guards to safeguard our principles and thrust them forward, we will remain abandoned and shunned politically.

The Soviets told us back in the 60’s that they would work to take over one or both national parties. I would say from observation sir, that they have succeeded in that stated goal.
In which case - we suffered a coup - and our thinking has to be a bit more..... asymmetric.

With the collapse of the WHIG party and the failure of the Abolitionist movement to actually become a party, someone invented the Republican Party in the guise of what became the RNC. Once that single element was established they invited state groups to send representatives ~ and some of those state groups had formerly been affiliated with the Whigs and some with Abolitionists ~ some shuffling was needed at the grassroots in some of the states since they had plenty of both! But the big thing was to first create a national entity which was then handed over to the states as a brand name as well as a vehicle for organizing for running a President.
What we just saw with the Romney campaign was multistage. First, he captured the RNC with his agents, Preibus chief among them ~ although this Gillespie guy certainly turned himself into a lackey quite quickly.
Secondly he targeted a few states for what can only be described as CORRUPT PRACTICES. He found willing confederates there ~ chief among them Virginia. The idea here was to position himself for the Fall election with a cadre of his own choosing ~ assuming they'd be more responsive to his campaign team than outsiders actually drawn from the state party structure.
Third, he shut down even Conservative campaigns that got too loud for him. That was made possible through the simple expedient of making sure all the major donors ran everything through the RNC committees first ~ the only superpacs on the job were those devoted to him.
The upshot of that tightly controlled top down campaign was to LOSE ~ even in the Senatorial races!
Actually, that approach will always lose. You really need a ground game with willing participants going door to door with brochures talking to people to make sure all Republicans have been informed that (1) there's an election coming up, (2) we have candidates you would like, (3) and if you're not registered here's how ~ then follow upon those folks.
The slightest sense that the national outreach is not concerned with them will encourage the door to door guys to stay home.
We need a NEW RNC to send representatives to who will make sure the rules ensure active participation by all county, district and state committees ~
I"m sure the old RNC has enough lawyers in its stable to arrange a suitable stand down and dissolution as they GIT OUT THE WAY!!!
Look at the LEADERSHIP paragraph. I’m talking about a coup within.
Somebody more politically adept than I needs to show the way to do this but the short answer is that these men need to look at the whole picture of this party and do the honorable thing for the good of the nation.
That appeal can occur right after the dismal failure that is about to occur over the sequestration.
This isn’t going to start in the halls of power. It will only start as a ground swell - just like the most powerful movement in conservatism. If the fragmented tea party movement has stalled, it’s time to consolidate those assets as well and show and very united and loud front to the leadership of the RNC - the old ways are unacceptable.
Business as usual is UN ACCEPTABLE.
Until this resonates, step one is bogged in the mud.
