My reasons are that the ambassador had information that could be embarrassing to both obama and Hillary.To wit: He knew where the bodies were buried. In addition to that, his usefulness was over. He went from an asser to a libality. And since dead men tell no tales, the attack was to cover his murder.The others were just collateral damage.

I believe it was a set up for Hillary to run against Romney in 2016. After 4 years of “October Surprise” from the news media she would be a walk in.
Look at what Obama faces now. An economy which he intentionally trashed. The middle east is in flames because of his policies. Terrorist now have massive amounts of heavy weapons because of Obama.
