The people signing on to these petitions have no clue what they have opened up for themselves. If you have a security clearance say good bye to it. It’s gonna get yanked faster than you can say boo. If your job is dependant on having that clearance, say hello to the unemployment line. You could also be jepordizing the clearances of anyone in your family that holds one. Sign at your own risk.

Anyone who signs any of the petitions will automatically make it on to Obemba’s ‘enemies list’.

Let’s hope they don’t take theses too seriously. Really, an online petition!

I have reason to believe that some Staff Judge Advocates and Special Security Officers are looking into the secession petitions at whitehouse.gov... Yeah.... and who TF are you?
Some anonymous a-hole.

Yes... and not only active-duty. If you carry a security clearance it can be suspended, based on the guidelines for loyalty to the U.S.
Exercise good judgment!

Some, are done anyway with their corrupt government and this administration deserves some bad press. If the government begins to nationalize seniors savings-taking their saved money from their accounts, more people will want to be signing those petitions.

Keep your Internet footprint as small as possible.
NEVER sign anything online with your RL name.
Eschew FB and twitter — those are for navel-gazers anyway.

Don’t be silly. Saying that the government of the United States of America would retaliate against a citizen for a web post that makes the Marxist in our White House look divisive is as absurd as saying that our government would retaliate against an artist for making a trashy Youtube video that offends someone. That just doesn’t happen in a country with the rule of law and a limited, constitutional government.

These petitions are at a WH web site.
Why on earth would ANYONE put themselves in jeopardy by signing one?
It may make you feel like one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence or the Ordinances of Secession , but unless you' willing to back it up with action, here and now, you ain't.

Not in the military and I have signed several. Wouldn’t if I were a gov employee or military. Big Brother and all. However, for me personally,as a private citizen, I want to be on the enemies list.

While I have already left the USSA, I would be concerned
about the social security benefits that I receive, if I were caught participating in a secession movement.

Oh please. Advocating the secession of a state is not the same as advocating the overthrow of the US. The latter is what will get your clearance pulled or not renewed.
Now to the wisdom on signing your name on a petition on a White Hut petition form advocating secession is probably suspect. Can you say “Enemies List”?
