The sexual content and foul language the networks are getting away with is shocking — including programming aimed at children and young teens. It is truly perverse.

I’d rather listen to classic rock or conservative radio.

I mainly watch sports, but you can’t get away from the filth even there because the networks show raunchy previews for their sick shows during sports programming. We are about to go the Roku route, so even though I will miss some of my precious college football games :-( it will be worth it to kick cable to the curb.

***I’d rather listen to classic rock or conservative radio.***

Just tuned my TV to the music selections for the first time;)

It then occurred to me that we can almost trace the decline of America’s manners and taste in the history of music.

From classic symphony thru Sinatra, Elvis, Beatles, BeeGees, Country & Gospel to Hip-Hop and finally Rap. I stopped buying recordings after Elvis.
