I believe she was a Lt. Colonel and therefore didn’t necessarily obtain the classified material from Petraeus.

Well, why on earth would she need that or have that?

Was she a spy?

Unless she had authorization to keep a SIPRNET secure computer at her home, she’s in deep, deep sh*t.

They spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to comment publicly.

Not authorized to comment publicly? Now that's ironic.

Of course. it is not possible that under FBI [and other] jurisdiction for the last 48 hours, that materials would have been added to what was seized... [sarc off]

Was she a spy? It would seem so based upon her actions. I hope she likes the inside of federal prisons because that is where she will very likely find herself.

Gee Dave, that pretty little girlfriend of yours can end up like James McDougal or Sandy Berger, it’s up to you.

Just knowing Petraeus whereabouts, his comings and goings, exits and entrances, schedules is classified information, depending on who wants to know those details. Probably, what she has on her computer will not be remotely comparable to- say- troop movements and equipment specs.

I’m guessing, but my prediction is that she had FOUO stuff. “For Official Use Only” for those of you in Rio Linda. Not classified, but required to be protected. This is a gray area as this stuff is available on NIPR (especially AKO) for those who have a need to know. It is frequently found on contractor computer and the rules are rather loose so long as someone is involved in supporting government activities. She certainly can’t be prosecuted for it, if that is what we are talking about.

The real objective here is to smear Petraeus. After he is destroyed, they could care less what happens to Broadwell, and she will never be charged, IMO.

One— her clearance was suspended today. Today is Wednesday, correct?

Two—now it is “should have been stored under more secure conditions,”

The narrative changes on an hourly basis.

“The contents and amount of the classified material - and questions about how Broadwell got it - are significant enough to warrant a continuing investigation, the officials said.”

It took THAT long to finishing examining the computer documents of a woman who confessed to being mistress of the CIA director and had potentially threatened another woman who is his close friend?

If they are citing materials on her computer, which they took possession of months ago, they are contradicting themselves.

And, they are just NOW suspending her security clearance?

where before they acknowledged that there was no reason to suspect her of anything other than having an affair with Petraeus and sending non-harassing, non-threatening emails to Kelley.

The ever-evolving factoids are making less sense, not more.

It wouldn’t surprise if its was known that Betray us took chicks in Apaches and shot at school children on play grounds.

It would not be reported by the DNC owned news media.

Wasn't this a HUGE issue with the Clinton impeachment but it was completely ignored by MSN?

For some reason it is important now after Benghazi.

My take on all these military shuffling is a prelude to a US direct attack on Israel they need to make sure they have nothing but 'yes men,'

"A computer used by Paula Broadwell....contained substantial classified information that should have been stored under more secure conditions, law enforcement and national security officials said on Wednesday."

LOL!

In other words, Broadwell's computer contained a bunch of embarassing data that became "classified" once the FBI and administration-directed law enforcement got their hands on it.
