The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections is admitting that mistakes were made on election night
When uploading results from the last three days of early voting, Gertrude Walker blames human and machine errors, telling TC Palm "i'm not perfect, neither is my staff".
40 of 94 precincts, mostly in Fort Pierce, weren't counted at all and another 54 precincts were counted twice. In total ballots, more than 3,600 in St. Lucie were counted twice, while 1,953 were not scanned at all.
Walker says a retabulation on sunday corrected the error, and she claims she's confident that every vote has been counted accurately.
One guy who's not satisfied with that answer is republican U.S. Congressman Allen West, who is demanding another recount in the district 18 race, in which democrat Patrick Murphy is the unofficial winner.
Florida (like every other state) has strict ballot control procedures in place.
The only way these kinds of incidents can happen is through attempts at fraud and cheating.
Isn’t it interesting that the significant ballot problems in Florida always take place in the same democrat run counties and cities, election after election?
In cases such as this one, the democrats who commit the fraud are either so arrogant they don’t bother to cover their fraud very well, or they are so incompetent they leave a trail of evidence a child could follow.
I think governors are waiting to see a solid number from West’s district. It helps them avoid the race card and gives them the first real evidence of fraud.
Also, I plan the STHF on fraud right after Thanksgiving.
Col. West’s race is the canary in the mineshaft for the “drop” in Republican voters.

Make the RepubElite address it NOW, and figure how in the heck we prevent it in 2014?! I was of the mind that photo ID would help, but the electronic voting system is such easy pickings for fraud at so many levels, that it is hard to decide what the solution is!

Would you guess these are the paper ballots that are scanned and tabulated by optical readers? It was discussed how the length of the Florida ballot slowed voting down.
Interesting no one seems to have thought to put a barcoded serial number on the ballot so it couldn’t be run through twice. This would certainly explain how an entire ward in Ohio could have 100% turnout that all voted for Obama. If this did happen, it would be easy to spot in the data. Things like under votes, straight Dem tickets, no split tickets, timestamps when ballots were scanned.
Wonder if you can petition and get a copy of the actual database? Of course, there’s been plenty of time to fix the data at this point.
We’ve gone from divining intent from hanging chads to a database system a high school freshman can manipulate.

It doesn't take perfection just competency to feed paper into a machine. If you can't do that then resign NOW. This woman is a former teacher, and she can't even feed paper into a machine properly.

But you just said: "i'm not perfect, neither is my staff". So how do we know that anything is accurate in your office. You can't even commit vote fraud right.

Easy to see what they did. They tossed the conservative precincts aside and double scanned the liberal ones. THAT’S CALLED FRAUD, YOU A$$HAT! This woman needs to be in jail.

What's sad is that this woman, former teacher, has 30 years of "unparalleled accuracy" in counting ballots - and yet it's totally believable that this was due to incompetency. It was outright fraud, but it's still believable for most people...

Now she’s ADMITTING to mistakes. The Stupidvisor whom refused to answer questions on Sunday, threw press and citizens out of the building under threat (Sheriff), and threw Tallahassee Elections under the bus (lying about what they said), and anyone is supposed to believe Ms. Walker now? Recall her!
