Good grief! The people I have to interact with! This morning one of my co-workers and I were talking about deleting our FB accounts. I told him mine was gone and he said he is cutting his too.
He couldn't stand "all the racist hate from the wacko right" during the election. Complained that right wingers called BO everything but the N word. The right is full of hate and the scandals going on with Benghazie, and Petraeus are all right wing scandals.
I wanted to blow out but held my tongue...for the time being. Actually almost EVERYONE here now is extreme left. Our new temporary news guy (a Pgh radio legend who worked at KDKA for decades) was commenting how horrible and totally clueless Santorum was.
I just can't take this anymore. The funny thing is most of these folks don't realize their hours are going to be cut to less than 30. The new guy is the future here. He comes in every morning for 2-3 hours a quarter and hour over min wage and that's it.
On a possibly brighter side Pelosi will announce today whether she will stay or go.

I’m still chugging along on FB...still babysitting three days a work week and found out ill be on steady 14 (yes!! Fourteen!) hours now (it’s our off season but previous winters I was a solid 24) til spring. Merry Christmas to me (and my one co-worker who works the opposite 14.
I was on a FR thread here last evening on the Broadwell DL turning up in the park. Working theories—the ChiTown version of the horse’s head; a warning salvo; a “place marker” to show she was “there” on a given day; she was there to meet “someone” a d left quickly (she is athletic, a tri-athlete; or it’s a duplicate to show how vulnerable she is).
This is really like an eleventy level chess board.

Boy, you can tell you’re in blue Allegheny Co as opposed to red Indiana County where I am. Most of the people in my office dislike obama and can’t believe he got away with stealing the election again! And my hubby’s place of employment is the same. Definitely no celebration here. Even the normally loud-mouthed democrat lawyer who comes in to our office has not gloated as we thought he would.

Jim mentioning the unions...it is so tragic that so many people around here will side with the union over everything. What is really most tragic is that they don’t realize how they are being enslaved.
The article Jim is talking about ...giving in to everything the socialists want then standing back and watching thhping collapse. The idea is that the ratz won’t be able to blame the right won’t work! The left will still blame the right and thw stupid will go along with it.

So in a nutshell: Petraeus wanted to testify, went to Benghazi to find out what happened. Found out the truth. Meanwhile he was having an affair that Barry and his thugs knew about. Barry didn’t want the truth to come out so he and his thugs are using the affair to blackmail Petraeus by threatening to arrest him for adultery, thereby denying him an honorable discharge and his retirement. Petraues backs off and now won’t testify.
So, the question is, will Petraues put country first, or his own interests. Would any of us put our livelihoods at risk?
But I digress; what ended up in the park?

I agree, Jim was rude. I don’t get the whole scandal/park thing but the gal’s driver’s license was found in the park. I have been staying away from news, talk radio except for Jim, and confrontational situations so I’m a little out of the loop.
After the guy sent me the vid I posted we spent several emails discusding guitar restoration and repair, lol!
Wow, nothing like getting my blood pressure up already. I went ballistic on one of GregB’s friends who tried to claim the same. They’re not going to get away with that sh!t with me anymore. Got more than enough evidence of their “civility” and “tolerance.” As for letting it all crash, going to do my part by being selective on who gets my money and who doesn’t. Starve the Beast.
Except for Quinn, I’m starting to think of taking a time out from talk radio and focus on other things for a while. Yesterday after work, I started an area for a garden behind the garage using the compost/mulching “Back to Eden” method. Preparing it now and hopefully it’ll be ready this spring. Also have to start working out again, gained too much weight and too weak. Not acceptable.
FWIW I usually go ballistic but am holding back because that’s what they want. They want to see me get upset because then they think they are getting to me and they relish in that!
For the time being I’m ignoring them.
And when things go bad, and they are going to get very, very bad... these CLUELESS CLOWNS will be blaming the right and BUSH!
hmmmmm I’ve lost 30 lbs. Geeez, I hope you don’t find and feel so much better...

Along the same lines and going Galt...this Christmas we were planning on buying more gifts than usual. Instead we ...our entire family...are agreeing on cutting back and saving for later.
Even for Thanksgiving and having that new indoor turkey fryer I am not going to do any. Originally I was going to do at least three and possibly four. Now it's going to be a breast in the oven just for mrs p6 and me and maybe our youngest son.
The oldest son says he'd rather spend a quiet time with just his wife and kids and our daughter is saying the same for her family. BILs are staying at the farm and having a quiet time too. First time as far as I can remember that there won't be a family gathering.

Ok—I’ll have to locate the thread & post the link here. Basically, Paula Broadwell’s DL was “found” in a DC park (no...not Ft. Marcy). Now it could just be a “lost license”....but it seems to have more subliminal meanings. Many here on FR thought it was a duplicate copy of her NC DL and that this was a warning. I forget the name of the park (cold creek?) but is the SAME park that they found Chandra Levy’s remains. Kinda spooky at best.
For the first time in 30 years, we WON’T be having TDay at our place. Daughter wants to have it—though that may change—so they don’t have to travel w/baby. I’ll be making our gobbler next Saturday (or Thursday if the kids “reconsider.”)
Christmas is going to be smaller again this year for us too...grandbaby is so little she won’t know...but it bugs me that I do:( .
