They’re screwing around for positions 3 and 4??? For God’s Sake, replace Boehner!!!
Good!
Damn straight!!!
The first step in trying to stop Obobo is getting rid of Boehner.
The conservatives are a minority in the House GOP and they know it
I agree with you. Boehner needs to go. I think he’s probably the worst Speaker of the House, we’ve ever had. Nazi Pelosi was a dingbat, but, she sure had a spine of steel.
Boehner is the one that needs replacing!
This is a show of force - a challenge.
Conservative members have a more solid footing. They're flexing their muscles.
Members on the fence, watching this play out, need to hear from their constituents.
Today.
I have no problem putting women in leadership.
I have a problem putting liberal establishment weasels in leadership.
We need substance over symbolism.

Without TARP we risked spending a trillion or two to backstop depositors at the large banks via FDIC. With TARP we elected Obama and got trillions of spending on federal hole digging projects.
A showdown vote with an Angry House Leader does have one upside IMO. If we lose, which I believe is likely, it will further hasten the demise of the R party who will be blamed by the media for trying to crash the economy over the election results. Then we could see challenges on the right to take the place of the R's that lose. It would take a couple of cycles though with D dominance in the mean time.
How about neither Boehner nor an ‘Angry House Leader’, but simply a conservative leader instead?
Sure, my AHL is kind of a red herring. But many people were putting up a litmus test that included public statements against anything Obama wants. There’s a big difference between public statements meant for the media and private resolve to keep House votes in our favor.
Sorry but the market crash had nothing to do with TARP being opposed. It had everything to do with TARP being passed. TARP passed on October1, 2008. The big market plunge occurred between October 2 and 18, after Bush, Paulson and Bernanke had spent four weeks telling people that the US was facing doom. The panic was intentional and you can be sure that a number of select insiders made fortunes short-selling during the panic.
Indeed. Isn’t this the very same job the GOP boys kept Michele Bachmann out of four years ago?
Can you give me an example?
Get boehner the hell out of any position of authority.
Man’s has no balls, no moxie, no spine.
Makes no difference anyway cause a new Conservative party is in the works and I’ll be damned if I stick with the GOP for another dole, mclame or mitt rino
And it all goes back to how they backstabbed and then abandoned Sarah Palin.
