The socialists/statists know that they cannot allow the producers to leave. If the producers left, there would be less tax revenue and the welfare state would collapse.
(I don’t want to hear any non-sense about States being net donors or takers of FedGov money. If Texas were to leave, many producers would immigrate to Texas.)
I have to agree.
It just dawned on me that I may live long enough to see the borders sealed up tight - but not to keep illegals out.
If they just let some of these states leave I bet there would be a large amount of signers that self-deport.
