That's a cheap justification; a reworded "everyone is doing it."
There are plenty of men who do not cheat. The idea that cheating is universal or unavoidable is simply false.
However, it is true that we each have similar human weaknesses. The crucial difference is in the "therefore, what?" Therefore, people should be very cautious about their male-female relationships, realizing that very powerful forces are at work, which must be accounted for and properly protected against.
If you work with a woman you shouldn't be having sexual relations with, then eliminate or at least severely limit alone, one-on-one contact. Make sure your wife is aware of the working relationship and that it's clear to all that she is welcome to be around the both of you at any time. If there's any point where you would feel uncomfortable if your wife saw/heard what was going on, then that should be a big, red, flashing alarm to make changes quickly.
You keep from falling over the edge by acknowledging that there is an edge, then staying far away from it.
Well, everyone is doing it...that wants to, and those that don’t, don’t do it, like you said. Besides, no one said it was universal, it’s individual.
People are people, not a justification, an explanation.
People are different, some like different distances from that ledge and some are just clumsy.
