I’m seriously looking at buying a house but don’t know where to go. I’d like to stay in Crafton, but as you say the taxes are higher. Then again, if I go to the City right next door, I’ll have to pay more than double the wage tax, so I guess it’s a wash.

Looked at a house in Greentree borough the other day, but it’s close to the fracking chemical plant. I’m not anti-fracking, but I’m kind of squeamish about having a chemical factory so close.

Well our old house on Emerson is up at $127,000 IIRC. I WOULD NOT recommend it though! The guy fixed it but did a very poor cover up job. The policeman acoss the street keeps me informed and says they didn’t replace any of the rot or insulation. It looks nice but there are a lot of problems.

Now our other house on Linwood is beautiful and done right! It’s a lot bigger and nicer and in a much better neighborhood. Best part is it’s only a couole of thousand more and the taxes are LOWER than ours were on Emerson! It’s the big Tudor house near the “triangle” if you know where that is. Near Ewing.

Did you look at the houses in Greentree on Terrace? They are kind of across from the Noble Manor Shopping center. They are nice but we think overpriced. I always wanted to live there but after going inside a few I changed my mind.
