First movie in the Bond series to not have a companion book. In fact no book has been written in a few years. There are however books never made into movies. Hope it is good.

There were quite a few books never made into movies. They merely used the title of a book as the basis for a script writer to write a modern script.
Dr NO and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE are about the only two movies based on the books.
Think of how STARSHIP TROOPERS (the movie) is different from Henlein’s book. The same with Ian Fleming’s BOND books.
Did anyone ever make a movie of the ISRAEL BOND spoof books of the 1960s?
