the FBI has uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 pages of “potentially inappropriate” emails between Allen and Jill Kelley

Weren't they working on a book together? I'd doubt that all 30,000 emails were "inappropriate". Sounds like the Washington Poop engaging in a bit of character assassination as the Drive By Media likes to do. Get the hits in before the story gets cleared up.

It boggles the mind how any man in a high profile job could do something to stupid. When it all goes wrong, the whole world would know about it.

In any case, Obama sure has shift the focus off of him.

I had a really uneasy feeling about this Kelly woman just after seeing her pictures. She obviously likes the attention and the way she tilts her head and poses makes me think this gal believes she is way hotter than she really is.

Wow, this is new information from the Wash. Post at that. Are they now actually getting interested in this now that the election if over? Well, either way, I will not believe anything that they say - will look for other sources. They have corrupted themselves beyond my reading them...

So...if I read this right, this same woman had “two” of our leading military/security leaders under her influence?

Sounds more and more like a honey trap and smells more and more like someone setting it up. Is it foreign enemies...or domestice ones? Right now, it’s hard to say...but even money would indicate domestic is just as possible.

Sounds like a Chicago style stong/blackmail operation to me.

Something to e-mail to every talking head, every Senator and every House rep.

--------------------------------------------------------

Fact One:

1) Only the POTUS can authorize a CBA (cross border authority) command for a rescue mission in a foreign nation.

Plus Fact Two:

2) No rescue mission was attempted.

Equals Fact Three:

3) 0bama turned his back on 41 State Dept. and CIA employees refusing to issue a CBA command and went to bed so he could go to Las Vegas the next day.

I will never forget that member of congress from somewhere in Europe that told a military official (in Clinton Admin.)"at least Adm. Bourda had the decency to commit suicide!"

This Petraeus stuff is going that direction - down!

Am I reading this correctly?

The same Arab woman involved with outing Betrayus
Is involved with another commander who lost his job.

What are the odds of that?

From Reuters:

SNIP

Asked whether there was concern about the disclosure of classified information, the official said: "We are concerned about inappropriate communications. We are not going to speculate as to what is contained in these documents."

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said in a statement given to reporters flying with him to Australia that he asked that Allen's nomination to be Commander of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe be delayed "and the president has agreed."

Allen, who is now in Washington, was due to face a Senate confirmation hearing on Thursday, as was his slated successor in Afghanistan, General Joseph Dunford.

The FBI referred the case to the Pentagon on Sunday and Panetta directed the Defense Department's Inspector General to handle the investigation. Panetta informed the top Republican and Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee during the flight to Australia. The House Armed Services Committee was also notified.

The U.S. defense official said that Allen denied any wrongdoing and that Panetta had opted to keep him in his job while the matter was under review, and until Dunford can be confirmed to replace him - a process that gains urgency given the potentially lengthy review process and the cloud it could cast over the mission in Afghanistan.

"While the matter is under investigation and before the facts are determined, General Allen will remain commander of ISAF," Panetta said, referring to the NATO—led force in Afghanistan.

SNIP

The U.S. official said Panetta was informed of the matter involving Allen on Sunday, as he flew to Hawaii, after the Pentagon's top lawyer called Panetta's chief of staff. The White House was informed next.

So General Allen was in Tampa for three years until he took over ISAF from General Petraeus. It appears from what I have read so far that Paula Broadwell had Jill Kelley pegged.

Buckle up boys and girls!

IS Obama going to use this issue as a reason for abandoning Afghanistan, blaming it on immoral and personally corrupt military/intelligence leaders such as Petraeus and Allen?

They got rid of McCrystal, or did he get rid of himself to get out of a “no win policy situation”?

Gen. Ham, Africa-Command, going. Ship commanders, going and gone.

Who is going to be left to defend out country, Panetta and Obama? You’ve got to be kidding.

I wonder if the Wash. Post is involved in a White House/DOJ conspiracy to smear Allen and others? I would put nothing past them.
