You raise an interesting point. Presumably, any attachments would have been graphic in nature (stills or moving). Graphic is always the best kind of attachment! The higher the resolution the better!
But an email with attachments still counts as one email, just as an email without attachments (e.g., "Date tonight? Under the desk?") counts as one.
