In the past four years, the only things that truly got me politically energized and motivated were: Sarah Palin, the Tea Party rallies, and the Chick-Fil-A buycott.

How did the Romney/GOP-E/Rove crowd respond to each of these things? With a middle finger. The damned GOP convention didn’t even allow the words “tea party” be uttered. The GOP-E has become every bit an enemy to my values and ideology as the Dems and their media handmaidens. I reciprocated with my own middle finger.

The GOP-e would rather target the skittish, propaganda-prone know-nothings than motivate and energize the common sense crowd.

The Rove types have failed. Their strategy has failed. It's time to jettison them and do it right.

I'm a Pennsylvania FReeper. When it looked like PA was in play, I took a vacation day to spend calling for the GOP GOTV campaign on Election Day.

I would estimate I made 500-600 calls. 2/3rds went to voicemail. Of the rest, the vast majority had already voted. I had six calls that were not votes. Three had medical reasons to not vote. Two were Dems (one rude). Only one was undecided that day.

What the heck did I accomplish? Apparently more than the ORCA volunteers. At least I painted about 150-200 GOP voters.

The GOP cannot waste the efforts of the best volunteers like they did this election. I guess they think money equaled votes. Money without sound planning equals a waste of such. As we saw this election.

I share your thoughts.

Me too. I drew my line in the sand against Romney back in the primary. And stated in no uncertain times I would not vote for him.

I’m not the only Freeper either, and JimRob nailed it.

To the GOP-e, we just proved you can’t win without us. Start nominating conservatives or keep losing with your loser Rino’s.
