Newt did attack on that front in part because it was where Romney is vulnerable and in part to forshadow what the Dems would do in the general. In fact, it is the method used to demonize Romney and make him an attractive alternative. The Democrat/Media has become really good at making every election a choice between two unattractive options...the lesser of two evils. They take you down in the mud with them, and regardless of the opposition’s response, it is deemed ‘the most negative race ever’. Romney did not run an overly negative campaign, but a poll would likely show he was the negative one...not the guy who accused Romney, of murder, cancer causer, hatchet man, etc.
So one GOP candidate should attack another because he made money as a capitalist? And this is considered helpful?
In fact, it turned many grassroots conservatives against Romney and helped spread the big lie.
Spreading lies and class warfare is not a good strategy from a GOP candidate. The Dems should be left to do that trash.
I posted last week that, if Romney won with his campaign strategy, that I would man up and admit that he was right and I was wrong.
Oh well...
I posted here many, many times that Romney was Obama's dream opponent.
It turns out that I was correct.
