Ha.
Just attacked by malware again. I am reformatting as I type. Some nasty ransom malware out of eastern Europe. I am so disgusted with pc's right now. I am seriously thinking of getting a Mac. Nothing huge, just a Mac desktop and see if that keeps the bugs off me.
Switch over to Linux. Ubuntu 12.10 or Fedora 17. Either look, and handle, fantastic!

I learned the hard way (back when I was still using XP) that the easiest way to get nasty malware was by using an old version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat. Malware loves to hitch rides on that. You MUST have the latest version of Adobe Reader (10 or above); it’s much more secure. And “Malware bytes”, a free program, is a godsend. Windows 7 seems much more secure so far (”knocks wood”).
