Years ago I saw atheist Madaline Murray O’Hair on the Larry King Live show. She said that during her time in the WACs in WWII that they all knew an affair between Ike and Summersby was taking place.
She is a credible source, fer shure, fer shure!
This may be the first time a FReeper cited Madaline Murray O’Hair as an authority on anything! Yes, the rumors were rife throughout the Army during (and after) the war because Eisenhower and Summersby were frequent companions and even confidants.
