I'm ready to hit the rack. I wrote some long comments to you on similar posts, then deleted them before publishing. They had to do with real honor and agreeing with your statements to one FReeper as to why the good general should just march up to Congress and spill his guts on the whole deal. Honor bound.
Then we read things such as this. Funny three minutes prior to reading this I was lecturing on why the general should fall back on "Sacred Honor". Now this.
Glad I held off. But I'm still with your suggestion he should tell the miserable Administration to just fuck off and go to the House and Senate and lay out the whole deal.

If the DOD decided to refuse his pension they also at this point would be exposed as total pricks.
JimRob, if you must ban me for my thoughts. Then so be it.

We know all about the weapon transfer programs via. the CIA with the indulgence of the DOS. Charlie Wilson's War.
Things happen.
That is a fully justifiable concern on our parts. But the cover up to protect the POTUS from any wrong doing, when it most probably is all his, the black widow's (Jarrett), others within his staff, that apparently turned their backs on the whole tragedy as it played out, poor Lame was probably sobbing at her real time video on monitor as it played out. Why continue. We for the most part have it figured out.

As the good and honorable (former Marine) LT. COL. Wood said, as you re-iterate it. The Taliban is in the house.
I'm open for comments. But most of us are on board at this point in understanding the terrible dereliction of duty.
And it all points back to the White House.

Need I say more. Good morning all. Time for this old guy to hit the rack.
There are times that can try good men and women's souls. Forgive me many Freepers for the few words I could not hold back on.

This is disheartening. It might explain why 0coward saw him as a good fit for his admin. FWIW I don’t think you said anything close to something that you would be banned for.

You’ll only get applause from me, no complaints. Honestly, my conflicted thoughts have very little recourse in the last few days’ events. And I more than appreciate those that can articulate them so. I wish you well, sir.

I think you’re spot on. God bless and keep you and your hero nephew. I know it’s personal for you. My eldest grandson is a US Marine Reserve, and thank God, he’s in school at a university.

Gen P. has one chance to right the wrongs. FWIW, I think he resigned because he was unwilling to commit perjury.

Before his scheduled testimony, an outline of his testimony had to be submitted to the Marxist for review. Obviously, it didn’t please Jarrett and the Marxist, so he resigned.

I’m not sure we’ll ever hear from him again, unless wife Holly tells him to “buck up or man up,” and reminds him of “honor, duty, country,” given that the military has been her whole life.
