There are at least three options in how conservatives respond to the election results:
First, conservatives can take the Tucker Carlson, David Frum, and Bill Kristol approach by nominating even more moderate Republicans and shamelessly pandering to disparate constituent groups, hoping to cobble together a larger coalition than liberals.
...and toward what end? Abandoning core principles can only undermine conservatives' credibility, and liberals will just choose to demonize right-leaning candidates on other issues. Even if the cave and pander strategy is successful, then what is the difference between the parties? What is achieved?
A variation on this approach is to give up entirely. There was no shortage of conservatives willing to do that late Tuesday.
Second, conservatives can focus on how to approach the electorate who, according to exit polls, really believed that Romney was going to ban the sale of birth control pills and condoms, who favored expanding ObamaCare, and who believed that Bush is still responsible for the economic mess.
A more viable variation on this is, as Sarah Palin pointed out, to realize that media bias is so severe that conservatives can't communicate with voters. By implication, to succeed in future elections, conservatives need to find a way to bypass the liberal "lamestream" media and reach low-information voters who get their news from Comedy Central and MSNBC. Brent Bozell at Media Research Center has spent 25 years trying to combat liberal media bias. Glenn Beck is leading in this direction in creating a new media network. Being a trendsetter and controlling the new "cool" is a daunting task.
Third, conservatives can focus on turning out voters more likely to vote for conservatives. The pre-election polls were correct.

Damn straight we’re not outnumbered. That crap is being pushed hard by the left and their “moderate” GOP toadies.
Just show them a map of the nation’s congressional districts and a map of which states are controlled by which party. They go psychotic.
Sarah Palin is right about one thing. The media and entertainment establishment is so decidedly liberal, and is such a part of people’s lives nowadays due to social media and constant connectivity, that it is hard for conservatives to break through. It’s worse than that, the MSM, education and entertainment establishment have successfully vilified conservative ideas to such an extent that young generations won’t even consider voting Republican.
Where most of us once thought the new media would level the playing field, it actually drove the existing establishment media further to the left.
Sadly, the country has changed. It is much more a European social welfare state now. That is what, at minimum, a near majority really want. We are following that path and I am not sure there is any way to break from it until the economy implodes.
My guess is going forward the GOP will begin to adopt a more libertarian stance. It won’t outright adopt paulbot positions, but I think we can expect less of an emphasis on social issues, a more isolationist foreign policy, and budget cut proposals that do not spare the defense department.
That would be refreshing, but you should see what happens when you declare yourself to be a Jeffersonian liberal (libertarian) around these parts.
How do we educate the un-educatable? The 18-30 year old indoctrinated? Get single white women to think and vote like single white men? How do we get millions on food stamps, free child care, free schooling and free school lunches, free head start, and free housing, and free this and that vote for conservative positions? Our Republic was founded on values bestowed by western civilization and culture and so how do we get a tsumani of immigrants with cultures, rituals, and beliefs diametrically at odds with our own vote for conservative values? Finally, how do we get the mass of the historical plantation class vote conservative values? Since values are shaped by Hollywood, TV, and the mass media, how do conservatives compete against this multi-billion dollar propaganda machine?
With the record like Obama’s even a fool like McCain should have been able to defeat him in 2012. But we lost. The big states appear permanently colored blue. Only TX is standing and may be not for long.
Does anyone have a workable and realistic idea?

Huh? Conservatives aren’t even a majority in the republican party... We are absolutely outnumbered. The country has gone off the left end and only the disaster of collapse will change things. Combine the domestic mess with Obama ceding our sovereignty (which he will do by treaty) and the American era is over for ever.

non-whites (including surprising to me Asians) are voting Dem approx 70%.
Old white people are dying off being replaced by non-whites.

There has never been an election that so clearly dispelled any notion of a possibility of a return to a Constitutional Republic via the political process.
The marxist/communist/moslem span of control is far greater than it was in the failed Soviet Union. About the only piece of the former Constitution remaining to fall will be the Amendment preventing hussein's 3rd an 4th terms. That will be easily accomplished in the next 4-years...IMHO
What are we to do.. we have a dictator and congress is going to do NOTHING to stop this... what are we to do... just talk it to death? Does anyone have any plans? Anyone have anything we can, together, do to stop all that will be coming down on us in a hurry. We are many in number, but we are scattered around and they are laying it all down so fast we can’t afford to wait. I am beyond shock to see this... plus those we send to Washington on the Republican side are more than willing to join in with the left.. Is there NO ONE who will fight this?

I agree with that but this article addresses the need to do something about that by continuing to create and promote an alternative media. The Blaze is mentioned, etc.
The Republican Party needs to stick to Conservative principles and Conservative candidates.
If we begin to chase power and control at the price of our values, we are lost as a country and the Constitutional Republic has failed.
