Never forget. Matt Drudge did the dirty work for his BFF Matt Rhoades during the primaries. I don't know whether Drudge is one of Jeb Bush's saboteurs, but he is just as contemptible as his BFF Matt Rhoades.

According to ABC, campaign manager Matt Rhoades told Romney: 'We would rather lose with you than win with anyone else.'
Colleagues also stood and clapped for Rhoades and Mitt's 'Body Man,' Garrett Jackson who often tweeted behind-the-scenes pictures during his many hours at Romney's side on the campaign trail.
The defeat was a stunning blow to the Republican camp who had been confident they would win even in the last few hours of the campaign.

Tends to correspond somewhat with my longstanding suspicion that, given the choice, the GOP-E and the whole DC Republican Party leadership elite are far more comfortable with Obama remaining president than having a genuine conservative/Tea Party leader attain the office.

Matt Rhoades isn’t gay. In fact, he TOOK A VACATION from the campaign this summer to GET MARRIED prior to the convention. You’d think he’d could have waited until AFTER the election to get married. And he married an operative for Chris Christie!
And Drudge was jealous over the whole thing.

I thought for sure someone was going to say that, with the anointing of Romney (from before the primaries, remember) the GOP-e brought a waffle to a gunfight.
Too smart by 1/2; the whole Romney team was wrong on 2 things: 1) Mitt wasn’t a conservative (and refused to run that way).
2) It’s the “grassroots”, stupid! They relied upon their “high tech” micro-programming (LAZY) rather than the old fashioned way of door knocking, and calling everyone.
