It is a Banana Republic now. I would rather retire in Costa Rica... at least they have an upfront banana republic and all of the smart Doc’s are going there.
Costa Rica is a good choice, although it has its problems.
Daily Caller recently ran a list of 10 “Conservative Countries” to which one could escape. Each has problems. The most attractive is Switzerland but it is expensive and hard to get residency.
My present choice is to live in a pleasant county in the USA and in a conservative (as well as Republican) state - and sweat it out.
