Thanks - the Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College also both do such great work, but they tend to preach to the choir (i.e. us). A few thoughts I’ve head:
Start a charitable foundation (tantamount to a conservative version of the lib ones that underwrite stuff on PBS/NPR) dedicated to the task. Let the Adelsons, Koch brothers, and other big conservative donors “pay it forward” by creating funds that can generate interest to pay for operations. Heck, Rush ought to drop a pretty big hunk of cash in it! The idea would be to endow a permanent educational effort which would reach out to voters, youth, latinos, blacks, etc with the conservative message - Never should we pander or play the divide-and-conquer games of the RATS. Most of it could be done online but what about a true Conservative Cable TV channel? It could be our version of MSNBC if you will, FNC is NOT the answer! FNC is “fair and balanced” but it is also hard news most of the day. That’s fine, but we need a continuous voice of advocacy, not “news”.
Here’s some crazy talk: use shortwave radio. You can rent time on international SW broadcasters for as little as $50 per hour and reach a US audience. New digital radios cost under $50 and it’s just like another audio stream.
But what is really needed is a visionary, passionate leader. This could be Rush’s true legacy if he’d do it, instead of selling tea.
He even has a program called "Liberty Treehouse" for school aged kids, in the afternoon. I enjoy watching it - great historical location stories - and my kids are grown!
It's also available to watch online (w/free 2 week subscription). I'm trying to support it as best as I can. He recently mentioned he's got several documentaries coming up...informative about where to go from here to (re)educate folks about....get this..our history/exceptionalism, etc.
I, too, think it would be great if folks like Rush and Levin would join conservative forces and fund our very own (underground) network for conservatism.
One thing I do know. Whatever I end up doing, it won’t involve sending $30 to Joseph Farah.
I first heard that from a Texan I was working with in 1978......8^)
Since political courage is required, Republicans will not Oppose. But they might, perhaps, be persuaded to Abstain - forcing Democrats to own the consequences.
That’s a might damn big typo! OK makes sense, CA not a lick.
Southern CA (excluding Los Angeles) should secede from greater CA.
No more red ink is a good idea.
Everyone moving to Texas is not. As I’ve said before TEXAS is more a frame of mind not just a place, a frame of mind that can grow and is growing in many other States.
Now, expecting Bohner to suddenly be a Tough Guy is a mighty stretch of our imagination to hold hard and stick with No More Red Ink. The House’s failure to do so will hasten the “other” way to force the libs to stop wrecking all of America.
I’m in DFW area, too (native Oklahoman). I’m moving back to Oklahoma in the next month. Chesapeake and Devon Oil are growing in that state.
Give up easy do ya?
Technomage philosophy. "We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons ...
Digital logic circuit designer?
Louie would be great and he’d do the job. Does he have enough House “connections” to win a dirty battle that’ll make Texas Speaker election look like Sunday School? By the way Louie is my Rep too.
The theorem in the article stops new debt creation. No more free stuff.
also on Pinochet as well the Desaparecidos in Argentina.
Can't argue with that; I've got part one covered, working on part two.
Not at all.....it's those who deny reality of the situation who are clueless.
“No more free stuff.”
Do you really believe any polidiot would do anything to stop the free votes any more than the voters would stop the polidiots from giving them free money? Of course not.
I think of it more as sibling rivalry...
