Do you really think that California’s still-to-be-counted votes will change the outcome of the election? Maybe for local races, but nothing else.
1. California is not only state with significant numbers of uncounted votes. 2. In Calif, there are several statewide ballot propositions including raising that state’s (already incredibly high) sales and income taxes, a union dues for politics measure, etc. The announced votes so far on these put them well within range of opposite final results if the 3 million uncounted votes are counted. 3. O’s “wins” in several key states are also very close and conceivably could go the other way if all legitimate votes are counted (and illegal ballots challenged). A presidential election is not concluded until the vote of the Electors (electoral college) and we won’t know who the electors will be until the ballots from last Tuesday are counted. I realize you know all this. I’m just wondering how the supposed “results” of any election can be “announced” when millions of ballots remain to be counted??? Do our votes count for anything if they’re not even counted , or not counted until after the winners (of whatever party) are proclaimed? Seem to recall much fairer elections in Animal Farm and the USSR. ? Hope I misunderstand ut
