For the last time, no one who resides on the beaches or any other LI town would describe themselves as living in Hempstead ... the town of, or otherwise ... No One! And they would consider it an insult if I insisted they did.
NO ONE, except maybe you, says, "I live in Valley Stream, in the town of Hempstead". Instead, they say, "I live in Valley Stream, in Nassau County".
When I send out Christmas cards they will be addressed to East Meadow, Atlantic Beach, Rockville Centre, Wantagh, and Inwood. I guess the cards sent to you will be addressed to 'the town of Hempstead'. So be it.

Oceanside/Baldwin/Freeport/Baldwin/Merrick/Bellmore/Wantaugh/Atlantic Beach/Lido Beach/Point Lookout/ Long Beach.
Instead I shorthanded it saying said THE TOWN of HEMPSTEAD because the person I was addressing knows Long Island.
Do you address your cards to Nassau County? Yet every town you named is in Nassau County. And in the Town of Hempstead
