Ding! I like the idea, but the fight in me is still burning white hot. I’ve got blood invested in the USA and want a return on for my investment. That would be an America that lives up to it’s ComstitutIon.

It’s all good. I want letters and phone calls to our House Reps telling them that we are tired of trying to negotiate with the Rats when we NEVER get anything in return and worse than that, we control the House.

Instead of " I propose the following. Allow the economy to crash. Back away from legislation by voting “present”. Tell the people elections have consequences, before and after voting “present”. The democrats won. Allow the democrats to take the blame for the coming crash. "
I would say "I propose the following; Refrain from voting for more government in any form, whether by stimulus, pork or bailouts by voting "present" on such measures. Tell the people that you can no longer morally support squandering the future of America and indebting future generations. Tell the people that elections have consequences and the democrats must face the reality that they cannot spend money we don't have and increase debt forever, nor is there enough of an economy left to even start to cover the deficit with increased taxes."
Then say "Please tell the people that you realize this will cause economic disruption in the short run but that continued ballooning debt will inevitably result in massive inflation, default or cuts that gut our military and similar federal responsibilities. That would mean the end of America as we know it. Tell the Democrats that they must accept responsibility for this inevitable economic adjustment because they are primarily responsible having had full control of Congress in 2006. Then tell the people that you realize that both parties have helped cause this but only one party is willing to stop the debt spiral before it is too late."
Then the rest of your letter is good starting with 'My children and grandchildren are depending upon your votes to secure for our future generations a chance to be Americans once more. Americans are resourceful. We will survive,..."

So what's new with that? They always tear conservatives down for the slightest reason, or NO good reason, but ignore some OUTRAGEOUS behaviors of the left.

I try to understand some of the liberal positions but end up seeing them as illogical.
Am going to take your advice, if I move to mail a letter. Your thoughts are appreciated, and make for a better letter and will Not Require a page two. Having had experience with letters and Congress, there has never been a time when those I contacted, in Congress, took my advice. They were always more intelligent than me. Would laugh at loud if this were not so serious. Maybe I should just take a drink, and toast what used to be.
I can normally stop at one drink or two or sometimes go forth and ask myself, how did me drunk that so to the bottom? I don’t recommend it though. That is ... taking the first one. Kind of blows up the reason for quiting. Am thinking of one though. Either a letter or a drink. A toast is probable to you from cyberland. It will be real, FRiend, and stop after one. Letter or a drink with a toast. How does one wind up in these situations anyhow?
