If every business shut down the government would step in and take over and there’d be a line a mile long of people willing to work for them.
I would love to see federal troops taking over private business in this Country, they don’t have the man power to turn on the lights in NY!
Bet there’d be many on that line who haven’t the skills to do the work with any competency. Imagine the paper pushers at the Department of (fill-in-the-blank) trying to run an oil refinery.
Addendum: Unless, of course, the people on that line are from the Far East.

Those living comfortably on gov checks will not work period. Most are as my father-in-law said too lazy to work in a pie factory eating 2 and boxing 1. They will merely sit with mouths agape when checks stop. Ask one where the money for those checks comes from. They have no idea!
