RUSH: I will repeat the EIB amnesty program, as announced in the first hour of this program today. 'Cause I see where the trend is going. I see where we're headed. I see that amnesty's heading this way. It's gonna happen, folks. You know, losing elections has consequences. There will be amnesty in this country. When you hear the phrase "comprehensive immigration reform," that's what it means.
Amnesty for whoever is here. And it's gonna be blanket, and it's gonna be pretty quick. That's where we're headed. So I want to get in the game. I want to propose EIB amnesty. And I'll agree to it. Amnesty for every illegal citizen who is here. There's just one caveat. In exchange for having all of the laws that have been violated forgiven...
In exchange for blanket automatic citizenship without having to take the test, without having to learn the documents... (You're here. You've been here a number of years so you're a citizen. That's where we're headed.) One caveat: You can't vote for 25 years. And let's see how much support that idea gets. Let's see if amnesty is what really is desired. Let's see if it's citizenship that all of these compassionate Democrats really have in mind.
That's how they sell it. "Why, these people have been here for years. They're good, decent people, exactly the kind of people we need in this country. It's a country built on immigration." You've heard the stories. "We can't be exclusive like this. We need to be inclusive. If somebody wants to come to our country and improve their life, how can we say no? I'm not gonna shut my country out to somebody who wants to come here and improve their life.
"If they are living like slaves anywhere on this planet and my country can make them free, fine. I will not stand in the way." That's where we're headed. Fine. Okay. We're good people, and we're gonna grant amnesty, but you can't vote for 25 years. Let's see how much support that gets. I'm serious. Folks, I'm dead serious. I will support amnesty for any and all illegals if, as part of the deal, they can't vote for 25 years. What kind of support do you think that will get?
None.
None!
And when it gets no support, that ought to tell you something. Because the proposal is only illustrative. I make the proposal for a simple reason: To teach, to illustrate. And we know what the answer would be.

“Wait till the day all those democrats start dictating...what job you can have”
We’re there already; let a white guy try to get a job as a cop in a city today. Companies are already hiring/promoting to “look like America” (rather than actually deliver results); the corporate world now follows the lead of the government in hiring, because they’ve lost millions in nonsense lawsuits based on color/gender as opposed to actual ability.
If there’s an amnesty, (or perhaps I should say “When”) all the newly-legal aliens would immediately be able to demand the full going-rate wage, since unscrupulous employers would no longer be able to threaten them with La Migra.
As a result, there will be new demand for illegals to work cheap.
Rinse and repeat.
W’s amnesty schemes were always DOA in the Republican control House of Representatives. I recall how giddy he was when the Dims won the House is 2006 at the prospect of working with them to pass his amnesty in 2007. That one failed in the Senate.
Now we’ll see how the Republican, Boner led House will respond to the next amnesty push. Will the next amnesty bill be DOA in the House?
Not hearing much from other Republicans in the House on this yet.
“Is it any wonder why CA is bankrupt? If we have an amnesty, the US will look like CA.”
Already happening in NJ (where we have a de facto amnesty); jobs and Americans are fleeing the costs of the Bronze Horde. If you stay in NJ, you are required to feed one multi-generational permanent welfare “unit” (I won’t call it a “family”), one illegal alien, and one government worker (cop, teacher, fireman, social worker, or court interpreter) to administer to them; it is reminiscent of the Quartering Act by which George III forced colonists to house his troops.
We can't even enforce the prohibition of dead people voting!!!!!
They already want that——La Raza
Rush is right. Tammy Faye Boehner was talking about it today. He is ready to totally capitulate on everything. Just hope the total economic collapse happens first.
With our country’s finances going the way they are, I think this issue will solve itself in a few years. Hopefully, the GOP will just pay lip service and drag their heels until it becomes a non-issue.
Am I serious? Yes, why not?
It’s what they are doing now, only now they stay because they fear they cannot go back and come again. If we just opened the Border at least some of them wopuld go homeonce in a while.
Well No I am not serious, but you have to admit, it has some merit. We arent really stopping them now-—and Obama has no intention of ever stopping them, especially now that they have elected him.
Why waste effort and money and make them swim?
You are right. The nwo plan. Plus they want to break down races and do away with the major religions. Mixing the races and cultures is part of the plan. Anyone who disagree’s is a racist. Nice group of people.
(Picks up Script) "Let me be clear, that has never happened and will never happen in America.
We are an unchanging country and this time of peace and political stability will always last forever."
Did I do the Naysayers right? The ones who will be herded into Ghettos in Denver and Phoenix and wonder "How did this happen?"
Fools all of them!
They think the Gravy train is endless. The Population of Greece is 10,787,690 people, the United States is over 300 Million. I don't know if that means it will take longer (because you have more people to steal from) or shorter (because there are more takers) but either way this path is truly unsustainable.

Umm, besides Israel.
Well, if I have to live in a Third World Latin American hellhole, my money and I will head south to one with better weather. It’s a boxless Christmas for my family. We are now on a buying strike beyond what we actually need to survive. And ammunition (which we expect to fit into the survival category before this is all finished).
The market is usually right.
We won’t necessarily need another amnesty down the road. Remember, Democrats and elite Republicans have a way to solve illegal immigration, and that’s to so massively increase legal immigration that pretty much anyone who wants to come here can do so, legally!
Don’t be surprised to see amnesty coupled with a huge expansion in already too-high levels of legal immigration.
Glad Mr Optimistic is hellbent on portending the ruination of the Country. /s
This is the real problem....there’s never an end to immigration issues. We just keep coming back to this every decade. Political folks keep thinking it’s a brand new problem and thus requiring a new solution. The fact is....you have enough laws on the books....just enforce them.
