I have no idea what the citizenship rules were in 1971-74 when the Bushes met and married. It was different times then than now

Maybe some folks who served in SEA and married Vietnamese/Thai ladies in that time (there were a lot) could tell us their experiences with their spouses becoming naturalized

If they did, I don’t give a flying frap because tens of thousands of Americans who marry foreign citizens did and still try to do the same thing, expedite citizenship change before children are born and careers are established

If you want to resent the Bush family, try another reason
